Alina, Serhii and their son Maksym (3 years old) lived in a military town in Gostomel near the Antonov airfield.

From the beginning of the invasion, the family witnessed massive rocket attacks. As a result, their house and the neighboring ones were completely destroyed. The family lost everything, was left homeless. In addition, the parents with little Maxim were not able to evacuate, so they were under occupation for 40 days. Sometimes there was nothing to eat, the family was constantly in the basement, because of shelling. This was reflected in their physical and emotional health.
