The Chernikov family from the village of Нorenka, in the Kyiv region, lost everything because of the war. Fortunately, all the children are saved, but the Russian invaders mercilessly destroyed their home, in which the family had lived since 1991. The family has two boys, Oleksandr and Dmytro, 8 and 4 years old.

Before the war, Ihor Chernikov repaired electrical appliances, made wooden furniture, doors, and stairs. But now he can’t work because all the tools bought over the years have also burned down along with the garage inside. His wife Tetyana Chernikova works as a nurse in a hospital. The family rents an apartment and tries with all their might to restore their life in Ukraine.
